Manual Duarte My view on "ALMOST" all my paintings is kinda dark because of my past, in a way I like to almost lend people a hand and guide them through the painting or drawings etc.so that they can understand that without darkness their would be no light but at the same time through the hurt through the lost soul in the ruins and abandonment your a living human who can fight through the worst situation you can possibly be in, basically saying if you can look up you can get up!But sometimes their is light deep down and I try to show it without saying much in the paintings, thus in real life also!My main priority is possibly opening a door that is forbidden but knowing the curiosity of humans since the stone ages discovering fire and all I know we are bound to open that door sooner or later.Even "eve" shows it in biblical notes.WE ARE SIMPLY CURIOUS HUMAN BEINGS!but never cold blooded bad intentions.I guess just natures way of showing tough love.Well that is one of my expressions of my art the way I see things never usual always unusual or unique, that thing that just isn't right in a way but somehow makes sense, just ask yourself if anything is really what you see in a person? Just don't get lost or it will grip your mind maybe lose yourself in thoughts. Possibly even bend perspective in half like time travel.OK well I hope I've explained myself clearly to you I just don't know if you wanted me to write a hand written letter to you if so just let me know and I will do so.And also I am from Laredo,Texas I'm 34 fixing to turn 35 in about 4 days January 26 l've been painting for a very very long time since 1 was a lil kid mainly self taught but did take some art classes so got a little I_Q on my side.l mainly work in color pencil but I am very versatile depending on what the project and expressions are expected, but I work with almost all mediums except oil painting cause I haven't had a chance to yet. Just acrylic paints.And I work in realism, surrealism, and narrative styles
